Valuable strategy. I will endeavor to start the first half of my practice season with one arrow and compare it to the second half of a season training with three or four arrows. Thank you for your insight. Very valuable.

ya, thanks for being here! it does depend on what your focus is for the session. I would challenge you, especially leading up to the season, to pick a day or two a week where you only shoot one arrow…period. Such a valuable tactic for replicating that moment in time where you get your one chance in the stand. Your brain afterwards will fill in the blanks on what you need to do with the next “one shot”.

So, in one photo, you’re using 3 under. In the second photo, you’re using a split grip. Please explain. Are a zen master who can shoot either way? Inquiring minds have to know.

In other news, I’ve been shooting single arrows for a good part of the year. At times I’ll shoot multiple, if I try to focus on part of the release for example vs accuracy.

Great eye. I’ve always shot split…my whole life. But, for awhile, with a finger injury on my release hand, I played with 3-under. It was a phase. I was experimenting. 😆
